We've got a couple of new ranks in Sound of Violence:Public Relations
This rank has been assigned to Frosty, he will be taking care of twitter, forums and other social media stuff and relations with other communities.Technical Manager
This rank has been assigned to RedCat, he will be taking care of the websites, game servers, teamspeak etc.Internal Relations
This rank has been assigned to Penassa, he will take care of any issues between members, so talk to him if something is wrong.Game admin
Currently no one holds this rank but if needed this rank will be assigned, this person takes care of a game server and admins it, making sure the players behave.Event Manager
Has been assigned to Nevyn, he will be ensuring events are hold every week and that people show up.
I'm also happy to announce that we will be continuing our operations in PlanetSide 2. We will hold an operation every Sunday at 20:00. However, for the time being we will not actively recruit or do anything more than this weekly operation.
So far we've got 3 people who are willing to lead on these operations, these are: Nevyn, Penassa and StanFor. That means each person will squad lead an operation every 3 weeks. We are looking for 1 more person so we can expand it to every 4 weeks, if you are interested please talk to Penassa
Furthermore, we have updated our community info
page to better reflect that we are a gaming community and introduced 2 new game servers to Sound of Violence, which you can find on our new server page
, alternatively click on "community" in the menu then drop down to "servers". We are also looking into adding a 7 Days To Die server and are wondering
whether anyone actually plays this game. If you have any suggestions for game servers please let RedCat
know, as long as the server files for the game are publicly available it's possible to set up a couple more servers for whatever game.
We would also like to make people aware that we have a webchat you can use, when you are at work or something else. You can find it by going to the "community" tab then dropping down to "chat" or clicking here
. Next to that we are wondering whether anyone is willing to donate a mere 2 dollars per month recurring to keep our services such as teamspeak, website and game servers up. If you are willing to please let RedCat
know, and for more info click here
As always, if you have any suggestions, comments or anything at all please let us know by replying to this topic!
